To see every leader in Indianapolis flourish and succeed.
Chris has come home from past jobs and thought, “What am I doing?” He’s asked himself, “What is my cause?” He’s wondered, “Is this the best use of my time and talents?”
From a simple, self-commissioned initiative to meet with 50 people in 90 days, Chris discovered what he really wanted to do with his life—help every leader in Indianapolis flourish and succeed.
Through Open Pivot, Chris has coached, trained, and consulted with more than 750 executives, managers, and leaders across financial services, non-profit, accounting, legal, mechanical contracting, education, and recruiting industries.
His certifications with Center for Creative Leadership Assessments, 360 tools, leadership gap inventory, work-life balance indication tools, Hogan Leadership Assessment, F.A.S.T Meeting Facilitation Training, and Strong Interest Inventory allow him to serve clients of various backgrounds with a wide range of services.
Chris recently earned his Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in Education and Learning. His research focused on the influence of executive coaching on leaders’ ability to manage stress and mitigate burnout.
Chris lives in Carmel, IN with Tricia, his wife of 21 years, and their daughters Margaret and Claire. He loves treating his girls to daddy/daughter dates, whether at the movies, out to eat, or for a talk-and-walk around the block.
As a graduate of Cathedral High School, Chris now takes pride in serving on the school’s board of trustees. The founder of Cathedral’s Emerging Leaders initiative, Chris has also helped more than 100 alumni reconnect with the school to contribute through mentoring and volunteer initiatives and is the proud recipient of Cathedral’s "Service To Cathedral Award" given to distinguished alumni.
